PTi has provided Managed Services solutions for three years, including 24 x 7 management and monitoring, and collaborative support to the Aldata solutions running on Oracle technology. Warehouse logistics and planning for 300+ stores are monitored and managed through Oracle Grid Control. PTi’s flexible co-sourcing arrangements provide in-house staff for critical projects, and support staffing levels at the end of production deployments.

PTi was recommended by Oracle Corporation to provide IT assessment and Oracle technology roadmap for their Projects Online business application which is used to manage all their project delivery. This system consists of over 300 Oracle databases. Our effort was to provide the proper technological vision to our client for this application and roadmap, in support of strategic IT objectives.

Prior to our customer’s strategic move to build a second data center in Arizona, PTi worked directly with Oracle Sales to provide ROI analysis and infrastructure consolidation of 300 UNIX-based systems to Oracle Real Application Clusters. PTi Delivery Services provided the project management and engineering efforts to successfully move 60+ internal applications to the new data center.

Recommended by Oracle Corporation, PTi implemented Oracle eBusiness Suite, developed and installed the database architecture, installed Security Upgrades to meet banking regulatory and audit compliance, and provided Ongoing Project Management. The twenty-month project was completed in less than twelve months, and saved our customer in excess of $120,000.

In the third year of PTi Managed Services agreements, our customer has benefited from 24 x 7 consistent monitoring and collaborative support of their Oracle Retail solutions running on IBM pSeries.

As an IBM Global Partner, PTi was selected to migrate and deploy the client’s 11.5.8 eBusiness Suite environment from HP/UX to AIX. PTi managed the project task details and logistics and engineering efforts necessary to deliver by the customer’s critical delivery dates.
